How Capital Response was formed
Capital Response was founded in 1996 by Managing Director Bill Cassidy and General Manager Jake Chouldary.
Before joining forces, Bill worked at Response Southern, where he focused on sales, preparing quotes and organised the team for electrical projects. During this time, his wife Ann Cassidy also joined the business, bringing her skills and organisation to the team — she now proudly serves as Finance Director at Capital Response.
Jake, meanwhile, built years of experience as an engineer under the name Capital Securities. When the two local businesses, Response Southern and Capital Securities came together, their shared values and expertise shaped what is now known as Capital Response Ltd— a company built on strong partnerships, technical knowledge and a commitment to great service.
Our Valued Team
Sarah Dell, another valued Director, was originally part of the administration team at Response Southern before becoming an integral part of Capital Response. Her experience and long-standing involvement with the business have been key to its continued growth and smooth operation.
Another key member of the leadership team is Aaron Carlin, who began his career at Capital Response as an trainee engineer and has been with the company for over 20 years. Through dedication, loyalty and hard work, Aaron has progressed to become the company’s Operations Director, a role that reflects his deep understanding of the business and commitment to delivering excellence in everything we do.
His partner, Sian, has also joined the company, she plays an important role in sales administration and compliance, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations and helping maintain the high standards Capital Response is known for.
Our team of skilled engineers is at the heart of what we do. Some have been part of Capital Response for over 25 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience, while newer engineers are building their careers and learning from those who have helped shape the company from the beginning. This mix of experience and fresh talent ensures we continue to deliver high-quality service and trusted expertise to every client.
Behind the scenes, our office staff play a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly. They expertly organise jobs, coordinate schedules and manage the day-to-day operations to make sure our clients receive efficient service and quick support whenever it’s needed.
This year, Bill & Ann’s daughter Toni Cassidy, a former Police Officer and business owner, joined the company to continue the family legacy. Toni has since opened a new office in Leighton Buzzard, expanding Capital Response’s reach and ensuring our services continue to support clients across London, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas.
